Toledo, Lake Erie & Western Railway & Museum

The  Museum houses many pieces of historical railroad equipment including Steam Engine 202 and an Electric Trolley being restored.

The Maumee river provides some of the best fishing in Northwest Ohio. It has many islands, stream inlets, and tributaries that provide excellent spawning ground for sport fish such as walleye, smallmouth, largemouth, crappie, bluegill and sunfish as well as carp, channel cat, bullhead and shovelhead that can weigh as much as 50 pounds.

Enjoy the day paddling a kayak on the beautiful Maumee river. River Lures, located just a few short blocks from The Grand Kerr House, provides both single person kayaks, and tandem (two) person kayaks for rent. They rent "sit-on-tops" kayaks that are the safest boats they can put you on. They DO NOT fill up with water even if you get tipped over.
