It’s hard to say what will be the best part of your B&B experience - the Bed or the Breakfast.
On the weekends, a full breakfast is served - wake up to hot coffee or tea, homemade pumpkin bread, fresh juice, seasonal fruits, a made-to-order omelette (Bob's specialty!), delicious quiche (Cathy makes a great crust!) or The Guest Request. We often ask our guests to close their eyes, imagine their favorite breakfast and shout it out. No guarantees but we aim to please! Breakfast is normally served between 8:00 am and 10:00 am but we are flexible. Breakfast time is your time!
During the week a continental breakfast is provided. Weekday breakfast includes juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, milk, boiled eggs, breads, bottled water and plenty of hot coffee and tea. You can help yourself whenever you please … in your plush white bathrobe if you so wish.
Whatever you choose, we promise your day will be off to a great start!
Breakfast Seating Options
Enjoy breakfast with new and old friends in the Breakfast Room! Gather around the table with other guests to talk about yesterday’s events and today’s plans. It’s a wonderful way to start your day.
In support of the COVID-19 concerns, guests that are not traveling together will be seated in separate areas and/or at different serving times.
Breakfast seating on the wrap around porch at your request! Enjoy the fresh air, listen to a songbird, relax with a cup of coffee or tea before starting your exciting day. Or, who knows, you may choose to never leave the comfort of our serene country porch.
Breakfast delivered to your Guest Room. Whether you are looking for a romantic breakfast for two in your room or simply want to enjoy your morning meal alone, breakfast can be brought to your room on request.
Start Your Day in a Positive Way!
Laurie Hostetler, owner of The Kerr House Destination Spa for almost 40 years, suggested that her guests do the following to bring more joy into their daily lives:
- Breathe deeply
- Eat wisely
- Drink water
- Have purpose
- Be inspired
We invite you to start your day with us at The Grand Kerr House mindful of these joyful practices and hope that you will take one or more of these with you when you leave our breakfast day.
